February 21, 2016 ~ Self love is founded on a healthy and true understanding of God.  Recognizing and accepting His love and reconciliatory act through Christ Jesus to bring you back into relationship with Him establishes how valuable and special you are.  Realizing He breathed life into you to accomplish specific purposes through imparting seeds of talents, gifts and abilities for you to develop, enables you to believe you are someone of high value, worthy of self respect and self love.  You have the potential to affect many people and thus the world.  We usually come to Him with some mix of brokenness, injuries, addictions, moral failures, covetousness, insecurities, jealousy and greed.  We do not come cleaned up.  We just come, ask Him in and then hand it over, even if rather unwillingly.  He enters in but our part is to commit to maintain the connection through talking with Him and listening to Him, reading the Word and doing as the Holy Spirit prompts us in all areas of life and issues.  His Sprit is Life and His Presence transforms when we stay connected.  That is key.  Healing and transformation is a journey and you are free to love yourself in the process despite imperfections.  You are invited to delve into the intimacy and safety of the Lord and into self love.  You are free to move forward toward your destiny and heart passions while still in the process.  Let Him do the work in you but move forward in self love in your present state of growth and struggle.  His grace is so beautiful and roomy.  Stay in it and in Him.  You are unique and unlike any other.  Develop those talents, gifts and abilities.  Matthew, chapter 25 indicates how serious He is about us developing our gifts and talents.  When you have self love and are in Him you can appreciate and acknowledge your progress and development in the midst of your spiritual journey.  He will enable you and make the way for continuing growth as you do your part diligently.  You can move into the destiny and purpose for your life, and as you do so, that very process brings about deep growth and expansion to your life.  God’s deep love of you enables you to have that self love which then enables you to go after that destiny and purpose knowing He is fully behind you.  What is so wonderful and so needed in this world is people who have a healthy self love based on being the Lord’s dearly loved child and are able to give out His overflowing love freely to others and show them the way to Him.  Self love is a very serious issue.  The development of ourselves fulfills our unique God-given purpose which invariably helps other people rise up thus bringing us great satisfaction and fulfillment and making the world a better place to live in.   This is why the Enemy works so hard to keep you from realizing healthy self love.
