Having experienced much redemption through my life and having reaped consequences, yet escaped by His mercy many others along with experiencing how powerful and surgically precise His training, correction and discipline is, I was impressed again when reading David’s life story in the Bible.
Powerful principles of the magnitude of grace over mankinds’ evil and poor choices are embedded in David’s story. Late mid-life when David had been king over Israel for many years, he illicitly took Bathsheba, the wife of one his faithful, top warriors while he was out at battle, resulting in her becoming pregnant. David, attempting to cover his evil, compounded the evil by arranging for her husbands death in battle. This resulted in terrible repercussions...

No angel, fallen or faithful has been given what the Lord has given you ~ imagination, vision and the ability to bring it into reality through speaking His Words. Only you have the ability to create beauty, to procreate. To build marriage, family, community and countries. In Him you have the dominion, and yes warfare. But, no Enemy from Hell can stop your development and manifestation but you yourself by cowardice, laziness or unbelief. The Bible is a success book!
There comes a time when faith is going to be tested by a choice. A choice to do the thing, to step up to the plate, to decide to leave the nest and learn to fly. Regardless of the initial...

The speaker at a large group I am involved in recently brought up the subject of that thing in our heart we desire to do, what is involved in moving forward in it, and what is developed in us by pursuing it. The speaker spoke of the importance of this issue when considering entering into any future relationship. I was thrilled to hear this discussed as it is so rare, unless you are into motivational and purpose driven teachers and speakers. It is difficult to be in any relationship where one person has a keen sense of identity and is working toward or working in their hearts’ desire and the calling and purpose to which they feel the Lord...

Being able to purge, de-clutter and organize your environment and your life starts with a search of your mind and heart. It requires asking yourself questions and answering honestly. It is giving thought to the season you are in and the goals, dreams and vision you have for it. It is quieting yourself before the Lord, listening and asking for the calling and purpose at this time in your life.
Here are a few questions you can start with. What do you want to be doing in this season of life? What you do not want to be doing in this season of life? What calling and purpose do you sense from the Lord for this season? What things and...

Before I dive in, here’s a few ideas to deal with clutter of the past:
~ Take pictures of the things that are hard to let go of. The memory of it via the photos will surprisingly help.
~ Save a few absolute favorites of a collection and let the rest go.
~ Give to a person or organization that would love to have the thing/s.
~ Donate and take charity write-offs ~ don’t forget to take photo’s of everything you donate for the IRS and to also get a receipt.
~ Create a shadow box for a special memory, a special person, a special animal, or as a memorial and so on. Use photo/s and related memorabilia. A shadow box looks like a...

Ebb and Flow. Steps forward, steps backward, setbacks balanced with sudden progress. Seems there is no straight line to any big goal. But that is no reason to give up. Realizing all this helps when attempting to accomplishing big goals, especially the seemingly impossible ones. Knowing God is the God of the Impossible and can break through barriers we cannot on our own gives the impetus to persevere.
However, there comes a time when one needs to stop and tackle messes, unfinished business and de-clutter, purge and organize to make further progress with dreams and goals.
If you are greatly frustrated with an overwhelming To-Do List ~ take a break and get satisfaction in attacking an easier “To-Do” list ~...

Whew! Working like mad to get my small place purged and organized to function optimally. I have a new series I am eager to get to on Bullies & Abusers ~ Small Scale and Large scale, still intermingled with some churchianity nonsense and other things! But first I need to get some foundational prep work done here once and for all. I hope. At least beat it down and back... Also, undertaking a learning curve on better "optimizing"my photo's or drawings for this blog ~ didn't fully understand that concept! Been listening to motivational speakers and was relieved to read a blog referring to incomplete tasks, file piles and so on need to be addressed for the new and...

January 25, 2016 ~ In preparation to having it all, you do your part for future seasons while in your current season. Reading and research can be done for that next season you are anticipating. You can update your vision board. You can set up a folder to collect ideas. You can re-arrange, clear out space and do some serious purging of things that no longer fit your purpose and goals to make room for what you want to come in. Ecclesiastes in the Bible tells us there is a time and a season for everything. As we develop and grow, God knows the best time to launch us into a new season. One prophet in the Bible tells us...

January 16, 2016 ~ Defined as sustaining at the same time a high-powered career, a successful marriage and family life with time left for personal growth, rejuvenation and recreation. If life went smoothly, there never was illness, the children didn’t need chauffeuring to their numerous activities, didn’t need a great deal of nurturing and support that takes much time and energy and the spouse was able and willing with a flexible schedule to pitch in with all manner of work required to support and maintain the house and family, and didn’t need any attention, love and support themselves, and your parents aren’t having issues or needs requiring your time or attention, and you have plenty of financial resources to...

January 8, 2016 ~ I love organizing and purging stuff whenever possible and living in a relatively small place, this must be done often to accommodate the art making and writing! It is enjoyable to rearrange even a few things for the New Year, giving a fresh feeling to an area. I also made a short list, for now, of things that were bugging me along with the corresponding solutions and was immediately energized to plunge in and rearrange some cabinets and an armoire in one area that were on the list. I found new homes for some items, freeing up more space to better organize the things I wanted in these cabinets. Surprise, surprise, they are mostly art...
